Record Bigo Live Streams with Tango Live Recorder
Tango Live Recorder isn't limited to Tango Live and Pulsz - it also records Bigo Live broadcasts. The same Telegram Mini App, the same paste-a-link workflow, and the same server-side recording apply. Here's which Bigo domains are covered, how the bot tells a stream link from a profile link, the one-time setup private streams need, and how to start your first recording.
Which Bigo Domains Are Supported
Tango Live Recorder recognizes Bigo Live links from both bigo.tv and bigovideo.tv. Either domain works in the same input field as a Tango Live or Pulsz link - there's nothing to switch or configure per domain.
Paste the Stream Link, Not the Profile Link
To record a Bigo broadcast, paste the stream link - the URL that opens the live broadcast itself - rather than a streamer's profile page. The bot inspects the link and auto-detects that it's a Bigo Live stream before it starts recording, the same way it recognizes Tango Live and Pulsz links. There's no platform picker; you just paste and go.
Public Streams Work Instantly - Private Ones Need a Bigo API Token
Public Bigo Live broadcasts record with no extra setup at all - paste the link and recording starts. Private, group, and 1-on-1 Bigo streams need one extra credential first: the Bigo API Token, added once from Settings → Cookies → Bigo API Token in the mini app (the field is labeled "Paste your Bigo API token"). Without the token, only public Bigo streams can be recorded; with it, private and group broadcasts work too. It's entered once and saved to your account.
Step-by-Step: Recording a Bigo Live Stream
Open @TngRecordsBot in Telegram - it launches as a Mini App, no installation required.
For private, group, or 1-on-1 Bigo streams, add your Bigo API Token once from Settings → Cookies. Public streams can skip this step.
On the Record tab, paste the Bigo stream link (bigo.tv or bigovideo.tv) into the input field - the platform is detected automatically.
Tap Start Recording - capture begins on the server immediately, in the stream's original quality.
When the broadcast ends (or you tap Stop), the finished video is delivered straight to your Telegram chat with the bot.
A Note on Following Bigo Streamers
Manual by-link recording of Bigo Live works right now, exactly as described above. Automatic Following - adding a Bigo streamer to your tracking list so the bot records them the moment they go live - is temporarily unavailable while it's being worked on. Tango streamer tracking is unaffected; if you want a Bigo broadcast captured today, paste its stream link manually and the bot handles the rest.
Next Steps
If you haven't recorded anything yet, the quick-start guide walks through the basics with a Tango Live link - the same paste-and-record flow carries over to Bigo. Tango Live Recorder also records the SuperLive family of apps, including LiveFlamingo and MonkeyLive, if you follow streamers across more than one platform.
FAQ
- Which Bigo domains does Tango Live Recorder support?
- Both bigo.tv and bigovideo.tv. Paste a stream link from either domain into the same input field used for Tango Live and Pulsz links.
- Do I need a token to record Bigo streams?
- Only for private, group, and 1-on-1 broadcasts. Public Bigo streams record with just the link; the Bigo API Token, added once in Settings → Cookies, unlocks private content.
- Can I paste a Bigo profile link instead of a stream link?
- No - use the stream link that opens the live broadcast itself. A profile link isn't a broadcast URL and won't be recognized as one to record.
- Can I follow Bigo streamers to record them automatically?
- Not right now - automatic Following/tracking for Bigo streamers is temporarily unavailable. Manual recording by pasting a Bigo stream link works normally in the meantime.
- Is Bigo recorded in the same quality as Tango Live?
- Yes. Bigo streams are captured server-side in their original quality and delivered to Telegram, the same pipeline used for Tango Live and Pulsz.
