How to Record Private, Group & 1-on-1 Tango Streams

Not every worthwhile broadcast on Tango Live is public. Private sessions, group calls, and 1-on-1 streams are common - and until recently, saving them meant screen recording with all its downsides. The Tango Live Recorder Telegram bot can capture these streams the same way it captures public ones: server-side, in original quality, delivered straight to your Telegram chat. Here's what counts as a private stream, how the bot gets access to it, and how to start your first recording.

What Counts as Private, Group & 1-on-1 Streams

Private streams are broadcasts limited to specific viewers rather than the public feed. Group streams bring several participants into one session, and 1-on-1 streams are a private call between you and a single streamer. All three sit outside the normal public broadcast flow on Tango Live, which is why ordinary link-based recording tools can't reach them - access has to be tied to your own account permissions, not just a public URL. The distinction works the same way on Pulsz - it's about who can watch the session, not which platform it's hosted on.

How Tango-RT Makes It Possible

The bot records these sessions through Tango-RT, a component that gives it permission-aware access to whatever your account is already allowed to view. Once Tango-RT is configured, the bot can detect and record group and 1-on-1 sessions automatically - there's no need to hunt down a link. Two details matter most: private, group, and 1-on-1 recordings are available even without a subscription, and they don't count against your recording quota at all - quota limits only apply to public-stream recordings. If a private recording ever stops working, updating Tango-RT through the in-bot instructions usually fixes it.

Step-by-Step: Recording a Private Stream

1. Make sure Tango-RT is configured in the bot (Settings → Tango-RT) - it's required for the bot to access private, group, and 1-on-1 sessions on your account.

2. Open @TngRecordsBot and enter the private, group, or 1-on-1 session the same way you would join it normally.

3. With Tango-RT active, the bot detects the session and starts recording automatically - no link to paste for group or 1-on-1 calls.

4. When the session ends, the finished video is delivered to your Telegram chat with the bot, just like a public recording.

Private & Combo Plans: the Private Recordings Channel

A subscription isn't required to record private streams, but it does unlock more around them. The Regular plan only covers the channel for public-stream recordings - it's the Private plan that grants access to a private Telegram channel containing private, group, and 1-on-1 stream recordings, and the Combo plan combines both channels at once. Every paid plan also raises your simultaneous-recording limit and adds streamer tracking slots, so more of your activity - public or private - can run at once.
