Never Miss a Broadcast: Auto-Record the Tango Streamers You Follow
The best moments on Tango Live don't wait for you to be watching. A favorite streamer might go live at 3 a.m. your time, mid-workday, or the moment you finally close the app after checking for the tenth time. Manually pasting a stream link the second someone goes live simply isn't realistic - and by the time you notice, the broadcast may already be over. The Following feature in the Tango Live Recorder Mini App solves this by watching your favorite streamers for you and recording automatically the instant they start.
How Following Works
Following turns the Tango Live Recorder bot into a standing watch list. Instead of recording one broadcast at a time by pasting a link, you add a streamer once by their username or profile link, and the bot keeps an eye on them going forward. The moment a followed streamer starts a broadcast, the bot begins recording automatically - no link needed, no notification to react to, nothing to paste. When the stream ends, the finished video is delivered straight to your Telegram, exactly like a manually recorded stream, just without you having to be there to trigger it.
Tracking Slots by Plan
Following is a subscription feature: each tracked streamer occupies one streamer tracking slot, and the free tier doesn't include any. To follow streamers you need an active subscription - Regular, Private, or Combo - each of which comes with a set number of tracking slots: Regular includes 3, Private includes 5, and Combo includes 7. If you want to track more streamers than your plan's base allowance, you can purchase additional slots using tokens directly inside the app, so your watch list can grow beyond the included amount without switching plans.
How to Follow a Streamer
Open the Streamers (Following) tab in the @TngRecordsBot Mini App.
In the input field, enter the streamer's username or profile link - not a link to a specific stream.
Confirm - the streamer is added to tracking and appears in your followed list.
If you're out of tracking slots, buy more using tokens or upgrade your subscription plan for a larger base allowance.
That's it - the bot now auto-records this streamer the moment they go live, and finished videos land in your Telegram automatically.
Works Beyond the Basics
Following isn't limited to a single platform - you can track streamers you already follow on Tango Live, and some other supported platforms are available for tracking too, though certain platforms may require a higher-tier plan to unlock. If your tracking subscription lapses, auto-recording pauses until you renew - your slots and followed list stay intact, so recording picks back up automatically as soon as the subscription is active again. And if you hit your account's recording quota, tracked streamers simply queue up and resume once quota refreshes, so you never lose a broadcast, only its delivery timing.
The Bottom Line
For anyone who wants Tango broadcasts saved without babysitting a schedule, Following is the difference between hoping you catch a stream and knowing you already have it. Set up your tracking slots once, add the streamers you care about, and let the bot do the watching. Pair it with a look at subscription plans and tokens to pick the right tier for your watch list. Following also works for SuperLive streamers on a qualifying plan; automatic following for Bigo streamers is temporarily unavailable, but you can still record Bigo Live broadcasts manually by pasting the stream link.
FAQ
- Do I need to keep the app open for Following to work?
- No. Once a streamer is tracked, the bot watches for their broadcast and starts recording automatically the moment they go live - you don't need the app or Telegram open.
- How many streamers can I follow?
- It depends on your subscription: Regular includes 3 tracking slots, Private includes 5, and Combo includes 7. The free tier has no tracking slots. You can also buy extra slots with tokens.
- What happens if I add a stream link instead of a streamer's profile?
- Following only accepts a streamer's username or profile link, not a link to a specific stream - the app will prompt you to enter the correct one.
- What happens to auto-recording if my subscription expires?
- Auto-recording pauses until you renew. Your followed streamers and slots stay saved, so tracking resumes automatically once the subscription is active again.
- Can I follow streamers on Bigo or SuperLive, not just Tango?
- Following supports streamers across the app's supported platforms; some platforms may require a higher-tier plan to track.
